May 03, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 102 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 02, 2024 to 5:00 am on May 03, 2024.   Arrested on Warrant On the 2nd of May, at 10:30pm, another police service in the Greater Toronto Area notified the Belleville Police Service that they had arrested 29-year-old Cynthia Reilly on the strength of an arrest warrant held by the Belleville Police Service.  The warrant was for assault and failing to attend court.  The warrant was originally issued in April of 2022.  Reilly was returned to the

May 02, 2024 Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 85 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 01, 2024 to 5:00 am on May 02, 2024.   Domestic Dispute On the 1st of May at 4:30pm, police received a call to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute.  Upon arrival, police spoke to the involved parties and learned that the dispute became physical.  As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old male from Belleville was charged with assault.  He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in May.  The name of the

Daily media release - April 29, 2024 Crash leads to arrest A 43-year-old Belleville man is facing criminal charges after a single motor vehicle crash along a busy commercial strip early this morning. Shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to a crash involving a vehicle that slammed into a hydro pole on Millennium Parkway. The driver, identified as Chanse Perchacz, 43, of Belleville, was arrested and charged with Refusal to Provide Sample of Breath. Perchacz was given a court date of May 30, 2024.
